Tooth bonding is a procedure in which we use resin to correct the shape and size of teeth. The resin material is more sensitive than tooth substance or porcelain. Possibly the tooth bonding find it also as resin facets. Because essentially the treatment is that we place resin veneers that correct the gaps in the teeth. The advantage of tooth bonding is that the restoration can be done in just one day. A second advantage of resin veneers treatment is the relatively low cost compared to dental implants or porcelain crowns. Resin veneers are a completely conservative method of cosmetic dentistry. You can find out in detail from our article describing what tooth bonding is.
Teeth Bonding First Incident
Here we present some cases with resin veneers or tooth bonding as it is called. In the first case we see the patient has these gaps in the upper jaw and this shape of teeth in the four front teeth of the upper jaw. He wanted a change in his smile. In a very, very easy way in a case like this we can get that end result. In this particular patient, it only took us an hour and a half here in the office to close the gaps and change the shape of his teeth:

We raised the laterals that are small and were kind of crooked. We brought the two central ones into the same shape precisely because one central one was shorter and more crooked. We closed the gaps that were between the teeth. The end result is what we see. And so the patient can smile happily. The result is immediate and very cost-effective compared to any other restoration we choose to do in the mouth. Also the result is very much conservative. That is, in this particular case, no tooth had to be ground anywhere at all. Only resins were placed on the teeth and thus changed their shape. Within an hour and a half we started from this initial image and ended up with this final image.

Teeth Bonding Second Incident
In this case the patient wanted to change his smile. He had gaps in the upper jaw, the sides of his upper jaw were small, there were very large gaps between the teeth. He wanted to restore the aesthetics of his smile.

And so we decided to proceed in a conservative way, with resin facings. That is, to bond the teeth. Here we worked on the six upper and six lower teeth. Within one session, that is, within three hours, the smile was restored in this way that you see. Closed the gaps, grew the teeth the way we wanted them. Some fractures were restored and the final result is what we see here. The patient is very, very happy. He is completely satisfied with the final result we gave him.

Teeth Bonding Third Incident
Here in this case we see a young patient who wanted to change his smile. There are gaps between the teeth if you look at the original image. If we look closely at the original image we can see the gaps between his teeth. Also his side teeth are small, they're short. There are gaps between the laterals and the central ones as well as gaps between the laterals and the canines. The canines are cut incisively and his smile was uneven. In fact, in this particular case when he smiled strongly the gums in the region of the laterals appeared.

Here this young gentleman wanted to change his smile and so he had a scarplasty on the sides. That is, we cut the gums slightly so that we could grow the gums upwards on the sides. We closed the gaps between the teeth and grew the laterals and canines downward. The end result is what we see, with no gaps.

The length is where it needs to be cut. and the length to the gums is where it should be, i.e. smiling, no gums showing, no scarred smile anymore. This particular patient had previously had a whitening treatment in his mouth. For this reason we chose a relatively white color with resins for his restoration. The final result is this. He is very, very pleased. He comes in every six months to see him, and nothing more.
Teeth Bonding Fourth Incident
This particular patient came to the clinic in this state, with this image of a smile. She had a forward protrusion of the teeth of the upper jaw. There were crowded maxillary teeth, incisor cut and with a forward protrusion. She wanted to change her smile, so we decided to move forward with tooth bonding, conservative treatment. So to restore the teeth with resin. And so we minimally ground the upper jaw teeth with incisors so they could come in a little bit.

Resins were placed on all the front surfaces of the upper teeth and incisors were placed to lengthen the teeth a bit because they were short. And the end result is this. When the patient smiles or when she talks, you can see the incisal surfaces of the teeth. As they should be seen, when talking and when sitting at rest, the maxillary teeth are barely visible. She talks better, her vocalization is better. She no longer has a protrusion of the teeth in front.

The restoration was completed in just two and a half hours. That is, the patient came in with the initial image and left with the final image. We chose a whiter color because the patient's lower jaw teeth had been previously whitened. And so we chose a slightly whiter color. And the final result is what you see here. It's a complete restoration, you can't see anything at all. It's a very aesthetic result, you can't see anything at all. You can't tell that something has been done to the patient's mouth. It's as if she originally had this smile.
Tooth Bonding Fifth Incident
Here, in this incident we see a simple incident for us. But which for the patient himself was intense. It was very embarrassing to smile and see these gaps in his teeth.

We decided to close the gaps with resins. The whole restoration was done in half an hour and completely conservatively. It was a completely conservative restoration. We closed the gaps between the main and the laterals. The teeth got bigger and now he has no gaps between his teeth at all. Now you can't see anything at all. The treatment was conservative and the cost was low. The time wasted by the patient was very little. He is very, very happy. And he is now smiling at the way we see in the final picture.

Teeth bonding sixth incident
Another easy incident for us. Our particular patient came to us with this smile. He had a gap between his front two teeth and between his left central and lateral teeth. And a very small gap between the other lateral and the central. He wanted to close his gaps. The restoration was done in forty minutes with resin, conservative. No teeth were ground down. When we say conservative we mean no teeth grinding at all. That means that the dental substance of the teeth is not affected at all.

The resin is placed on the teeth as they were at the time the patient came in. Since we are dealing with the front teeth, a cosmetic resin was placed. Simply put, the resin is the white filling of the teeth that we put in. The resin that we place on the front teeth is a more aesthetic resin. It polishes better and renders the translucency of the teeth better. Aesthetic resin was placed on his front teeth. They closed the gaps and he is now smiling this way. And he is very, very happy. Very, very short procedure, easy, no local anesthesia. No anesthesia needed this case since we didn't touch any teeth, we didn't grind any teeth. He now comes in every six months and we see him.

Teeth Bonding Seventh Incident
In this particular patient, this was quite a challenging case. We had a pronounced forward protrusion of the in-central to the front. The rest of the gums were uneven, one higher and one lower. We had crowding between the central and lateral. We also had a change in the midline. That is, the middle line, the line between the two central had moved to the right, it was skewed. This patient wanted to change his smile. Let's see what methods he chose the dentist.

We did a whitening on his lower jaw and placed resin veneers on his top ten teeth. We also did a gingivoplasty, which means we changed the shape of the gums so that in the final result the gums would be uniform. That is, when the patient smiles, the height of the gums should be in the same straight line. And by extension, the length of the teeth upwards should be the same. The end result is what we see in the second picture.

Very, very happy patient. It doesn't look like he's done anything cosmetic. Within two and a half hours, this restoration you see was done. He brushes the way we told him to and we come in every six months and see him. He doesn't have to do anything else. We chose a whiter color since he did the lower jaw whitening. And so he has a whiter color and teeth in line with the shape we chose to give him.
Cosmetic dentistry
Resin veneers are among the techniques we use in cosmetic dentistry.Other techniques we can use to improve the patient's image in cosmetic dentistry are porcelain crowns and dental implants. The strong suit of cosmetic dentistry is dental implants. An excellent treatment is the combination of tooth implants on which porcelain bridges will be supported. On our website we describe in detail all the techniques cosmetic dentistry.
Porcelain wreaths
Since we have mentioned cosmetic dentistry, it would not be right not to talk about porcelain crowns. This technique is the best thing you can do to get a perfect smile. When we apply treatment with porcelain wreaths basically we place very thin porcelain shells on the parts of the tooth that are necessary to get the shape and color we want.
Dental implants
In cases where we have tooth loss or very serious mobility problems of the teeth then dental implants are a one-way street for the treatment of the patient. The dental implants is an absolutely stable solution so that the patient can have stable teeth in his/her mouth forever. It is the most conservative method to fill a gap between teeth because we do not touch the adjacent teeth at all. We simply place the tooth implant in the gap that exists, which is a titanium screw that is screwed onto the gums and stays there forever. We have a lot of experience in placing dental implants. We have successfully completed many tooth implant cases, some of which we feature in various articles and videos on our website.
Dental implant cases
We have created an article in which we present cases of patients who have had dental implants placed. The presentation of the tooth implant cases is done to help you understand what we do in this technique of cosmetic dentistry. In each of the cases with dental implants you can see a picture of the patient before and after the implants were placed. The best way to understand the value of this treatment is to see cases of dental implants.
