Bonding, or resin veneers, as we call it, is the placement of resin on the front surface of our teeth. Resin is the material we use in fillings. Only the cosmetic resin that we use for bonding polishes better.

In which cases is tooth bonding recommended

Resin veneers are used in cases where we have discolored teeth and in cases where we have a tooth shape that we do not like. Also in cases where our teeth are decayed or where there are gaps between our teeth. In these cases the resin is placed.
Within one appointment usually. That is, for the ten upper teeth it takes about two and a half hours. In case the lower jaw also needs differentiation then we do a second session, which is another two and a half hours.

Tooth bonding is a conservative method

The method is extremely conservative. Because the tooth usually does not need to be ground. That is, the teeth remain as they are and we place the resins on them. The method is very short and it is also economical. The only difference between it and porcelain veneers, which solve similar cases, is that resin veneers take up pigments. So after a period of time, usually five years on average, they need a renewal, a maintenance. It is a method from which patients remain very, very satisfied. The result is very, very nice. It is a very, very successful and popular method.
